Christmas 2015 to Epiphany
HOLY Trinity celebrated the coming of the Light into the world at Christmas with a number of events. A carol service was held in the darkness where everyone had candles and the choir 8 + 1 helped lead the music. This was followed by mulled wine and mince pies. Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve had incense and bells to add to the candlelight on this most solemn occasion, when a solo voice sang out the first verse of Once in Royal David’s City. On Christmas Day the children and young people acted out the nativity story, lit the Christmas candle on the Advent wreath and played with bubbles which were let loose at the end of the service. Then came the Feast of the Epiphany when the wise men joined the nativity scene. Details of services and other activities at Holy Trinity are
