Candlemass [sic] at Holy Trinity
Candlemas is an ancient festival of the church. It celebrates Mary and Joseph presenting the baby Jesus at the temple where they were met by Simeon and the prophet Anna. After listening to the story the children made beautiful edible candles at their craft time.
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday which is February 10 this year. The Lent study group begins on Monday February 15 at 1 pm in the church. All are welcome.
