On Sunday Reverend Canon Paddy Allan celebrated the Eucharist with us. The theme of the service was humility and hospitality and the readings gave us examples. Paddy explored these tenets of being a Christian.
Having helped with most of the local churches at the Haven Café Tent at the Cowal Gathering the day before, we felt we had put these principles to good use, serving teas and coffees and offering a welcome seat sheltering from the rain!
On Saturday 7th September Holy Trinity will be open as part of the Open Doors weekend in Argyll. Do come and visit us, see our old registers and our vestments, and enjoy a cup of coffee and tea – open 10.00am to 4.00pm.
