Living Water
The youngsters at Holy Trinity have been mixing science and theology this Sunday – by making pretend lava lamps.
The reading from John’s gospel about Jesus and the Samaritan woman at the well set them thinking what is meant by ‘living water’?
The lava lamp illustrates their idea that Jesus provides the ‘fizz’ in our lives.
And if anyone wants to make a pretend lava lamp, try putting an Alka Seltzer into a bottle containing half oil, half water (a spot of food colouring helps too).
